Houston Black Tie Dinner’s mission is to raise funds in support of a diverse group of organizations committed to enriching the Greater Houston GLBT community. To achieve our mission, the Houston Black Tie Dinner, Inc. relies upon the financial support of individuals like you. As a 100% volunteer organization, we depend on contributions of time and money to get things done. To continue our growth in supporting community organizations, we have to increase community awareness, improve our effectiveness, our efficiency, and our ability to raise funds. As an organization, we never want to lose sight of our vision to be Houston ’s leading charitable fundraiser on behalf of the local GLBT community.
That’s why we established the Friends of Black Tie fundraising program. By joining Friends of Black Tie, your generosity allows us to continue supporting community organizations so essential to the Greater Houston area.
We hope that you will support the Friends of Black Tie Program. This program is different from other GLBT nonprofit in Houston in several complementary ways:
- Friends of Black Tie Program’s purpose is solely to raise money for GLBT nonprofits
- Friends of Black Tie Program increases the awareness of the established philanthropic community with regard to the needs of the GLBT community
- The Friends of Black Tie Program is a fund of The Houston Black Tie Dinner, Inc. That means that 100% of your donation goes to GLBT programs
Tax-deductible donations may be made in one payment or you may choose to give monthly. You may also choose to donate in memory of a loved one. Honoring a person’s memory is a wonderful way to celebrate their life.
Houston Black Tie Dinner, Inc. is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and we receive 100% of our funds from donations. Donations made to the Houston Black Tie Dinner, Inc. are tax deductible.
By donating to Friends of Black Tie, you will be making a personal commitment to the local GLBT Community and our mission. Your gift helps provide a steady and reliable source of income to carry out critical programs.
